I’m a product designer with more than 8 years experience.
In the past years I’ve been focusing in tools and products for engineers.
My process
Regardless of the type of project I’m working on, I follow the Double Diamond framework, since it allows to go through all diverging and converging steps to design a solution.
The methods to use in each step of the process are defined after analyzing initial requirements and insights from the team.

Strive to be proud of your outputs, from emails to workshops and pixels, every touch-point is an opportunity to improve the craft and take design to the next level.
Collaboration
The best work considers not only users but teammates. By including different perspectives in every step of the work, we learn more about our product and the experience we are trying to create.
Growth
Seize any chance to get a little out of the comfort zone and continue to learn from every experience. Nurture curiosity and thirst for knowledge but also collect wisdom from wins and failures.
My journey into design
My formal educational background is in Media and Film-making; before design I worked on content production for radio, podcast and film, as well as digital film distribution through my own startup: NuFlick, the first Video-On-Demand platform in Mexico. With this experience I learned firsthand how digital products are build and the complexities of balancing the goals of users and stakeholders.
Curiosity for human behavior and the interest I had in understanding user’s motivations and digital experiences more in depth lead me to make the transition from entrepreneurship to Product Design, which, at the moment felt like an organic step in my career.
Design provides diverse methods to understand people and their context and, based on that knowledge, propose a solution to improve their experience. Done right, it can be powerful and meaningful.
I’m a strong believer in the power of collaboration and empathy to unlock a team’s potential and foster people’s growth. On the personal side, I love dogs, books and Mexican food.
